Pre-paid taxi stands from NJP Railway Station and Bagdogra Airport are also available.

By Train: Siliguri and New Jalpaiguri are the two closest railway stations, apart from Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Station (88 kilometres from New Jalpaiguri Railway Station). These railway stations have direct rail links to Kolkata, Delhi, Guwahati, and other major Indian cities.

By Train: Nearest railway station is Rishikesh. Taxis and buses are available from here to reach Govindghat.
